Welcome to the Close Poetry website!

Get us with our snazzy new website! The Close Poetry team (me and Pat) have been working away at this new website ready to launch with our Summer event at the Salisbury Orangery - an open mic and (forgive my vanity) a launch event for my debut pamphlet Venus in the Forest which was published last month with Seedlings Press.

From now on, all our event details, and ticket sales will happen through this website. Bear with us while we work out any teething problems - there are bound to be some...

I'm also planning on using this blog feature to share local events and news from the Salisbury literary world - so if you have anything you'd like me to add then drop me a line at my brand spanking new email millie@closepoetry.co.uk

I'm also thinking it would be fun to have our favourite poems from the open mic posted on here for us to revisit and reread - watch this space!
